looking at getting a group of 3 and once we come to a conclusion on dates, moons/tides and accom etc then book early so we can get a booking in and not miss out. heavy popping/stickbaiting and jigging are my plans trolling also
depends what your after, both very different places. If your after a bloody luxurious experience and great day trip style fishing then Ono is your place. Nc you have a better chance of landing a huge GT but you wont get the awesomness of a remote tropic island getaway
if it were me, i would go back to ono, but i am getting soft these days. Check out the next issue of Wangler for some good Ono Island action mate
if you want to take the spouse then book ono, it is heaven and do it through ocean blue, they now how to look after the fishing partners

Ono is a remote island of Fiji. I believe there are only 2 options for accommodation (one of which is advertised under an agreement with ocean blue). Suggest you check out the ocean blue website & email David Noble for details. The place under agreement with OB offers fishing & couples packages. I would highly recommend Ono to anyone seeking a true escape from reality. Island hopping is a must & fishing is just a bonus.

Some chance I could swing Ono
Some chance I could swing Ono if it were later in the year, but not NC.
If I book more than 1 non-girlfriend friendly fishing trip in a year, I don't hear the end of it, and already got one of those booked for Feb!
Think Ono is pretty WAG friendly
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

yes, budget on $5k plus, not $3k. Factor in your gear costs too if you don't have anything up to the task too.
Ono is a lovely place & would suit couples very well. My missus would like me to take her.
