looking to buy a pe2-3 spin set up for light jigging and plastics for dermersals.
Have been looking at a Shimano Stradic FJ 4000 or 5000 size, but not to sure witch rod it would suit, also i dont want a rod over 2m
looking to put 20lb on it, buget would be 600 for rod and a reel

thanks

I recently grabbed a Lemax Grand Master and put a Tierra 4000 / 30lb line on it for the same style of fishing and I am stoked with how it matches up.  I have the 6'1" model for jigs up to 150g.

The rods are sweet, have got a nice smooth action and are only $200.

I'll post a few pics later tonight.

Personally I would look at a daiwa Demon Blood Combi jerk64. Either matched to a 4000 Sol or 3500 seagate

You can also look at a Monster Mesh Max PE2-3 but the demon blood is nicer

+1 for cj64. Just careful you don't lose the top half when it's in the rod holder ;). Great rod

Stradic should set you back

Stradic should set you back about $200 (I just got a 2500 lovely reel) I like the hearty rise rods either a sylphy medium or the jigforce pe1.5-3 for around $300. I got a sylphy heavy which is more pe3 than 2 it takes 200gram jigs. Leaves a little for braid.

Got my Stradic 4000 on a Shimano Trevala 10-30lb and it's definately my favourite combo for plastics and light jigging. Rod and reel would come in under $400 so depends if you wanna strech to the $600 for a more expensive rod... have no complains with the Trevala tho.
