Photo bucket video upload?

Hi Guys

Have some video footage that I would like to post on fishwrecked. I'm having trouble when trying to up load to Photo Bucket. When I write up post I use Photo Bucket for all my photos no dramas, but when try to upload a video I cant see them in "my pictures". They are there when viewing from the  computer but not through Photo Bucket.

Any ideas how I can upload these videos??

Cheers

Supported file types Images

Supported file types

Images – gif, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp. Photobucket converts bmp files, which are not appropriate for the Internet, to jpg files, which are. The Image Editor does not retain the animation in animated .gif files.

Videos – 3g2, 3gp, 3gp2, 3gpp, 3p, asf, avi, divx, dv, dvx, flv, gif, moov, mov, mp4, mpeg4, mpg4, mpe, mpeg, mpg, m4v, mts, m2ts, f4v, qt, wmv, xvid, rm. All video files are converted to mp4 format when you upload them.

If your video isnt one of those file types you will have to convert it to one of those. Im curious to know what file type your video is at the moment as all the popular ones are supported by photobucket. You might be able to "convert/render/save as" your current video in Windows movie maker, im not 100% sure as i own a mac myself

did a quick search..
MOD is a computer file format used primarily to represent music, and was the first module file format. MOD files use the “.MOD” file extension, except on the Amiga where the original trackers instead use a “mod.” prefix scheme, e.g. “mod.echoing”[citation needed]. A MOD file contains a set of instruments in the form of samples, a number of patterns indicating how and when the samples are to be played, and a list of what patterns to play in what order.

What was this video filmed from?

f You’re in windows you can rename a file with these steps:
1. Open the explorer window where your files exist
2. Select the Tools >> Folder Options menu item
3. Click the View Tab
4. Uncheck the option to “Hide extensions for known file types”
5. Click “apply to All Folders if you always want to see the file extensions for every file no matter what folder you are in
6. Click ok to accept all changes and close the dialog window
7. You should now see all the file extensions of the files in the current folder
8. Right click on a filename you wish to change and select Rename
9. Rename the file extension to anything you’d like.

Once you’ve done this, you can just right click a file and rename it in seconds. No software required!

That only changes the file name, it doesn't change the type.

When saving the movie

What program are you using to make the movie?

When saving the movie, underneath the file name, can you choose what format to save it into, live .wmv or .avi?

Luck last question, I can now upload but its taking forever. I'm assuming its the file size(116 MB). Any ideas as I want to put a video together of my kimberley trip to share with the Fishwrecked community and its going to be a very large file.
