Hi Dave. I bought a second hand 4.1m polycraft a few months back for a small hire business I have started in Karratha. The boat has been in hire survey since new (2003) and was not been stored undercover. Apart from chips and scratches from inexperienced customers it is like new. Further, from what I have read and found from polycraft and other owners uv deterioration is not an issue (it has the highest rating). This one is foam filled as an option (different from standard) and I have been very impressed with the ride and toughness. Check out polyboatowners website for more info (I think www.polyboatowners.com.au).

Cheers

Dave

A polycraft 450 centre console/open boat 50hp from Point Samson, took it around the dampier Archipeligo.  Nice riding boat, can take a knock.  I liked them.

Very poor turning circle for what i have experienced and read.

Other than that i am leaning towards one for a upgrade later this year to the 450 CC or the 480 Brumby!

a great boat that can take

a great boat that can take the rough treatment. for storage just make sure it's on its original trailer as they warp when the are on a roller style trailer other than that there is nothing else to worry about, it just takes time to get used to the different ride with the little bit of give the hull has in it when hitting the waves.
