Hi Mark. How many hours of editing does it take you to produce the picture like the ones on the top. Or the kite surfer, which is obviously put together from several shots. I’ve done bit of photography, but never gone into this deep editing.

I think you will find you
I think you will find you get that effect more from a slow shutter speed. Some bloody nice pics there mate, like the top one.

That’s correct for the water,
That’s correct for the water, but if you have a look at the lines from the kite, they are quite sharp, which is not possible with long (slow) shutter speed.

Cheers mate, not much editing at all. The kite surfer was one shot. 1 sec exposure to get a sof look on the waves and a mega steady hand. Just a slight tweak in light room. maybe 5 min on each pic

it's called high dynamic
it's called high dynamic range (HDR) processing.
basically take 4 or 5 different rated exposures of the same scene and effectively sandwich them together in a post processing editor such as lightbox or photoshop.
certainly makes the images look interesting to the eye.
