But basicly you drive them opposite to a mono or another description I've heard is you drive it like a car it will want to roll or tip the way you are turning so you have to corner slowly and always turn down the wave in following seas .a mono hull is more like a motor bike they lean the way your turning so can turn at higher speeds .i have a cat if you want some pointers you can come out with me sometime and can show you a few simple things

Definetely makes sense what you have mentioned as far as driving it like a car.
