PR/FG knot in 30lb or less.

Was wondering how this knot would go in 30lb braid to 30lb leader or lighter and if anyone uses it. Cant find much in search.
Have been using bimini/GT. I use PR/FG in pe5 or more.

The FG is fine for under
The FG is fine for under 30lb, starts to get a little fiddly under 10lb though.
I use the PR for 30lb and over and FG for 30lb and under.

Hey Sammy, how come I had to cut out the stinking albright yoiu had on the 10 lb braid on the certate and replace with an FG.......haha.
I do FG's in all line classes from PE8 to PE 0.5, no dramas. Very easy to do and ultra strong.

yep, I do FG in 6lb to 40lb.
PR for heavy work (pe5-pe8).
They are both friction knots, so work just as well as each other. I just prefer PR in heavier classes - bobbin allows you to apply heaps of tension to the leader.
