Princeton Tec Shockwave Led

Anyone got one or know how they go? I just got one and went for shine in the backyard.. mmm nice and bright! Are you able to use these out of the water for very long or do they need to be submerged for cooling purposes? I couldn't find a definate answer anywhere on the net and it doesn't say anything in the little instruction manual thing. Keen to go for a night snorkle for some crabs sometime to test it out.

I have a shockwave miniwave
I have a shockwave miniwave led II, its not bad for money. They don;t need to be kept in the water, they don't generate that much heat.

that's the beauty of LED's
they generate less heat (wasted energy) hence last longer than conventional bulb style head lamps.

I'd like a led cannister
I'd like a led cannister with an umbilical rather than a pistol grip, but the price differential is just stupid.

LED's dont generate ANY heat
That is why they are so power efficient - no waste on generating otherwise useless heat.

Impossible!
That would mean it is 100% efficient at converting electrical energy into light energy!?!
They generate very little heat, to say it generates none is misleading.
