pulling others crab pots
Submitted by jighead on Mon, 2014-02-17 18:52
I live close to the murray river in north yunderup and put four crab nets off the bank today. I go and check the every half hour or so and only look for a few for a sandwich. The spot I put them is communal so I have no problems sharing and if somebody is fishing before I get there I ask first and then only set to the outer edges as to not interfere with them. Most people are really good and leave them be but some peope can't help themselves and think it's okay to check them for me. Often the nets are no where near where i threw them. It just frustrates me that's all.

Maybe I'll get in the poo
Maybe I'll get in the poo for saying this but touching others gear is just poor form & is what ghings were invented for.

Buried face down
The reason Rock Hudson and Liberace were buried face down is so their mates would recognise them.
As far as someone pulling your drop nets its the same as pulling someone elses craypots, get the evidence on film and you might get something done or if they are big pricks, broken teeth for your trouble so is it worth the hassle
