Ramp Control
Now if you have been to Two Rocks, you will know what I mean by Ramp Control !
Last monday I had the pleasure of using the Two Rocks boat ramp 
, and also had the pleasure of listening to a guy at the boat ramp give polite suggestions on how to retrieve your boat - HIS way !!!
I must say that I have never heard anybody speak to other people the way this guy did ! He proceeded to shout, scream and shake his fist at any boatie who was using the ramp, and not obeying his direct commands.
I witnessed this expert - shout at the skipper of a rather large boat that he was not to drive his boat all the way onto the trailer ! Here lies the problem - he did not have a winch, as the his boat was set up to drive on and self lock. Never one to miss a scene, I had to listen for the next comments - and yep - just what I thought ! The skipper told him to GET ####ED !
This guy was causing more problems and slowing everybody down, and therefore adding to the angst among every skipper just wanting to get off the water !
I am very surprised this guy has not been punched out due to his rude and immature behaviour !
Was this a once off ! OR is this guy there every weekend ??

Ive never seen anyone there
Ive never seen anyone there barking orders before. I would have told him the same thing. The only guy thats there on a regular basis is the guy that collects the money for the use of the ramp. He seems to cop a lot of abuse unfortunately. People just dont beleive that they should have to pay to use the ramp for some reason. It would be nice if it was free but its not so pay the $7 or F@#k off to another ramp. Last time I checked you had to pay at Mindarie, Hillaries and Freo. So why should Two Rocks be any different. As for driving the boat on the trailer I do beleive there is a sign there stateing that you are not allowed to for some reason. I dont really know why you cant.

It damages the end off the ramp. I would tell him to bugger off 2.

Iv had a similar expreiance there! Could have been the same muppet! My trailer is set up to drive on with all skids. There's no winding a 7.1m on skids. When I drove it on I was told I was a young gun ho d-$:head and shouldn't be aloud to use the ramp. As you could emagin. I told him what me and every one els thought of him an drove off

He was really good and had a good old chat with him !
The guy at the end of the day was different !
But if he is there to help skippers retrieve boats under the rules - does this excuse his poor form ?

Yeh iv got no problem with paying the fee to maintain the ramp an the guy is just trying to do a job.

That is all they do. Tapout, I would be happy to pay the seven dollars if there were more than one ramp!! You failed to mention that Hillarys and Mindarie have a minimum of four ramps and look at Ocean Reef they have eight!! It is ridiculous to run seven dollars on a setup of one and a half ramps and a so called jetty for all the boats that operate out of Two Rocks. The signage is pathetic and it is amazing there are not more agros on days like Monday last with people butting in because they don't know where the line begins. I ended up heading out of Mindarie because I wanted to be on the water before eight even though I got there before six.

wow i thought leuwin was bad
wow i thought leuwin was bad at $12 and ya got the people who think its a social gathering at the ramp not a military operation considering how many people need to launch from the only ramp in freo. (yes i know there are other ones like point walter and private one at efyc) but leuwin is the main one and no less of a nightmare, maybe the how to load ya boat nazi would come in handy at freo, but more than likely he would be told to F*&K OFF.
