Richter Clone Stickbaits
Submitted by Buz on Wed, 2012-08-15 15:52
Was just down at a Getaway Outdoors and saw these things for the first time. They looked pretty good, and i liked the fact that they had some Heavy models(unlike most stickbaits being rather light).
So of course i had to buy a couple to test out on my next trip for Tailor up the Coral Coast.
Anyone else used them?

They work well , they are a S/african made lure and were made to fish slowly on the sand banks through gutters when targeting (kob) mulla's . On a faster retrieve they give a great action and shimer plus with the weight u can really get them out there ...... Iv landed enough fish on them now to rate them highly.

They get Kob(mullas) hey.................................hmmmmmm got me thinking where i want to use these now :)
Yeah i like the weight on them. Got the 2oz and 3oz model. Should be able to get them out behind the breakers for the Salmon and Tailor when they are being a bit land shy!

have done very well on mullas , yellow tail kings , tuna , gt's , tailor ect just about any fish that eats another fish will have ago at the clone .
If brought some back with me after my last visit about a yr ago , u could only get them in the 3 oz models . I had the treb hooks straighten up north so might want to change them if u targeting the bigger fish.

Damn!!!, must have been bigguns to straighten them. Might swap them over to some good VMC's or Owners them. Good to hear they work for a variety of predators.
Thanks for the heads up.

I run a little business called West Coast Camping and Fishing out of my garage in Yokine and try to keep 2 of each size and colour in stock if anybody is looking for thee and can't locate them.
I'm always happy to organise additional stock if anyone has specific quantities and colours that they want to order.
I've fished with them and love them.

Pricey
Just saw your stuff on eBay and I noticed that you're selling a so called "package" of 2 lures for $96 that doesn't even include the lure you are advertising it with... Don't think your business will last long if you keep that shit up! Or unless you have failed to list the whole package in which case you're business will still fail from lack of orders.
