Road Conditions

Hi all,
We are off to Exmouth in July and want to try the Mullewa -Carnarvon road with the boat in tow to Carnarvon.
WA Roads sent me a Email to say that this road is now sealed all the way.
Has anyone used this road, and is it now sealed as they say above? Its a bit longer but we would see a bit more of the country as we travel.
Traveling from Sydney and travel up through Kalgoolie,Listener,Sandstone,Mt Magnet,Mullewa and continue through to Geraldton in the past trip. And is a great sealed main road.

We travelled that road in Oct as far as Gascoyne Junction, then headed north, so don't know about Gascoyne Junction to Carnarvon section. Much of the road is sealed from Mullewa to Gascoyne Junction, but there is still plenty of dirt/gravel. It was in good condition, but my trailer lost heaps of paint (and lots more north of Gascoyne Junction) from the stones thrown up by the 4WD's tyres.
Give the Shire of Murchison office a call and they will tell you whether it has now all been sealed.
