Rod advice please

Hey all

You might have seen my other post asking which is better for a reel the Seagate or the Stradic and after hearing a few bad things about the Seagate i thought i'd just go another Stradic and adding to the Stradic family which i have.

The question now is which rod?? Im getting the stradic 5000fi and thinking of putting 20lb braid on it for casting lure and unweighted mulies for tailor but also a bit of drift baiting/light jigging in the boat. Im after a rod around the 6/7ft mark and one that can flick lures but also put the brakes on a biggish fish say snapper or dhuie.

I have a budget of around 200 as im ment to be saving for a overseas trip. Any help would be nice, i was thinking the shimano rack raider snapper rod but better quality would be nicer.

Cheers danno

In regards to the Seagate, it depends on which size.  3500 and below is a much lighter use reel.  The 4000 and up is a totally different reel.
