Much needed rain....wonder if it is too late for the trout though

I was down in Pemby in March and it had not rained for msot of the summer and the water levels were so low you could hardly believe fish were there. However there were trout in these puddles of reasonable size. I just wonder if they managed to survive until the rain. I would hate to see no more trout in Pemby.

mate i went for a drive down
mate i went for a drive down to warroona the other day just for a look and i couldn't believe how dry it was the water line has dropped about 500m from where it was 6 months ago its unbelievable
