Rod recipe
Submitted by Nealez on Fri, 2006-12-08 09:51
I have a snapped T-Curve 200 OHD and i want to put the guides to use. i have found only one recipe on the fuji wesite and i was wondering if anyone new of any others they could share, plus now i have a butt section of no use and i think a new tip section would be worth almost as much as a new rod.
the guise sizes are
10, 10, 12, 12, 16, 20, 25

You can use those guides to
You can use those guides to build up a 7-10ft medium to heavy spin rod or another 50lb jig stick. I find the T-Curves OH guides are quite large for overheads. If they want to keep the line off the foregrip use taller frames like SVSG's.

paint
from my enquiries about the rod I am building, you need a certain type of paint, otherwise it will crack under stress. not very pretty.
someone who has done it before should most definately be able to give you a better response
don't all get bright red rods now ;)
