rotto channel swimmer needs boat.

I qualified to swim the rotto on Saturday only to find my mates boat has electric failure and needs $1500 spending on it...
If anyone wants a day (long) on the water and $500 bucks for doing so, please, please, let me know asap.
I have a support crew ready and have completed a duo swim, so have some experience to hand..

Long range forecasts are no good, it will change before the swim in the 26th.
will be out there again for more punishment... not sure why i put my hand up to skipper the trip.
That start line is insane, did anyone end up with any damage on their boats last year? we came awful close a couple of times.
the mob i take over take 6 hours to complete, so usually the wind gets us just before we make it to rotto.

Long Range Forecast
Where do you guys go to get a long range forecast? Can't be too accurate this far out. Hopefully these howling easterly hang around...they have to be good for something..and perhaps a little from the north...that way we should all be able to float across to Rotto on the day!!
