I am here and i am supporting the club, the admin, the coach and the team. Unlike a lot of you eagles supporters who have called for simko's head in the past. Gilly, how many times have you questioned the non existence of simmo's plan b.
Freo are re-building. An eagles great came out during the week supporting freo. Guy mckenna said every re-build starts with defence. Our defence is solid and has years together as a group. Luke ryan is a second year player. Pearce is effectively a second year player. Wilson is 23. Blakely is 22. This defence has 10 years ahead of potentially. The mids are well established.
I thought we looked better up forward today. Cox and mundy and mccarthy is a better option than just mccarthy. Cox is only 19. I dont see an awful lot of 19 year old key position players setting the competion on fire. He will take time.
I dont mind where we are at. The defensive pressure was better.
I really dont care what anyone thinks. If you are a freo supporter and arent on board, get the fuck off completely and support another team.

Ive been on nightshift for the last 4 weeks so have missed the games, but yes its frustrating as phuk, the young blokes will always make mistakes but i recon the game plan or lack of it is shit atm even with my limited knowledge of the game. Guy Mckenna wrote a good article last week about the dockers which made a lot of sence..going by that they have a few links to fill before they start pulling some weight.
Putting up with wet coke supporters is the hardest part!! "Look at us fly".....phukin Pelicans!!..... we can wait till September to have our giggle....and deep down you all know we will

As an innocent bystander ( though it is great to finally have my beloved Dee's starting to play good footy ) my thoughts on the Eagles and Freo.....
Start of the year i woulda had them finishing about
Freo - 10-14
Eagles - 8-13
Eagle thus far have over achieved IMO but if i were an Eagles supporter i would be very very cautious of getting too far ahead of myself - momentum is a massive thing in footy now and you are only ever a couple of key injuries away from a slide.... Dont blow your bolt too early!!
Dockers - Off field BS ( again and again and again ) is bringing the blowtorch to the eye sockets of loyal supporters and that brings extra heat on when you loose...
Loosing to Nth Melb is no big deal now, they've taken down those Lowly Hawks, Swans, GWS etc etc etc...
If Freo Win the games they should and show effort in the losses then its no big deal and roll on 2020...
Take comfort Freo faithful that the Eagles WILL NOT WIN THE FLAG this year, in fact it would be another shit GF if they make it.....

In regard to the Eagles, i think the only ones getting ahead of themselves is the media. (Bazil etc)
Been there done that, only 10 rounds in and a long way to go in another B/S extended season.
I don't realy know of any West Coast supporters that have already said it will be a G/F appearance for them this year.
As for the dockers, they need a decent coach. Enough said......

Yes, I agree it's a long season and things can change, but I like what I am seeing from the Eagles so far. Time will tell I suppose and if they are good enough then you will all be treated to a shitload of gloating from us Eagle boys such as has never been heard since 2006
