Can freo get a win?
Can eagles shake the flat track bullies tag?
I'm tipping both. Neither with any confidence. Hill a big out to add to the list and the tiges full of confidence. And the eagles, only because port dont have a ruckman, nic nat will get a stat or 20, eagles will get first use and win.

Tips
Hawks v Swans – a tough one to call. Never like to tip against the Swans, especially when it involves losing two in a row. On paper though it should be the Hawks that get up this week. When you throw in the travel for Sydney (played at the MCG last week too) and the ‘Roughie’ factor, which is bound to pump the Hawks up more – I’ll back them in. Another cracking Friday night game coming up….the AFL really have got this fixture right this year. Hawks by 9pts.
Pies v Cats – the Pies looked irresistible against the Lions. Or were the Lions simply deplorable? Either way, I’m not brave enough (read: stupid enough) to tip against the Cats again this week.
Suns v Crows – the Suns have not looked like getting close in the last few weeks and are travelling backwards at a rate of knots. While the Crows are not exactly flying and perhaps gave us some insights on the weekend to where they really sit this year, the should be too strong for the Suns and don’t seem to mind travelling.
Port v Eagles – ‘Flat track bullies’ or ‘Homebodies’. West Coast will shake one of those tags this weekend, with a win over Port. From memory WC are 3-1 playing at AO – they like the ground and the corresponding fixture last year set the ball rolling for the Eagles successful season. Count on Port being competitive at home, but I think we have too much class around the ground and importantly a few players starting to hit their straps.
Roos v Blues – This should be a real test for the Roos, who have been pushed by ‘weaker’ opposition this year on a couple of occasions. The Blues are running hot at the moment and seem to be building genuine belief under the tutelage of Bolton. As much as I want to see the Roos drop a game, I think their mids will be a bit too big and strong for the blues. That said, I reckon this one will be high scoring octane footy and a tight game. Roos by 19pts.
Freo v Tigers – Oh geez….the head says that the Tigers have redeemed themselves and will start to string together some decent footy. But my head also says the Tigers are shadow of 2015 and have always been a bogey team for the Swans. The same could be said about Freo though – some great games played between these teams in the last few years. Whatever…both teams are shite at the moment….just a matter of who dishes up the least crap on game day. I’m backing Freo to break their duck.
Dees v Lions – One thing you can say is that Lions won’t play any worse than last weekend. Whatever they dish up though, I don’t expect it to be anywhere near good enough to get over the Dees.
GWS v Dogs – a big game for the context of both clubs. Being at SS makes me lean strongly towards GWS…but when you also consider their current form and their ability to stretch the Dogs vulnerable defence, I can only see this one going one way.
Saints v Bombers – the Saints return to Etihad and will be keen to atone for round eight. They play electric footy here and against the worst team in the comp (oh wait….hahaha) they will lock in their third win for the season.

How is that supposed to pump them up? Like Rats loosin his son last year, had an adverse affect on the club as youd expect, and they lost to an out of form Port. Id be suprised if Hawks get up this week given the circumstances. Feel sorry for poor Roughy, such a top bloke
