Too right, too hot to wear trackies all year round in Carnarvon, stubby shorts and wide thongs are the go otherwise you burn the side of your feet on the ground with the overhang.
You only have to look on facebook, in the paper, on the nightly news etc to see how often Rocky gets a mention compared to Carnarvon, after all its a thousand km closer to Nannup than we are so some of it has worn off by the time it gets here

I once shot an over inquisitive reefy about 10 foot with the floppers on my spear folded back so the spear wouldn't stick in it , we all jumped on the boat and moved about mile down the reef we were diving again and what do I see about 30 minutes later but a 10 foot reefy with a wound to its head (like a spear had done it )so I do believe they will follow a boat

I did do that but I didn't kill it ,I did kill (tiger shark) 1 at coral bay that was in the bay swimming area in about 1986 not proud of it but there you have it you live and learn I was a young bloke then not a grandfather like that bloke is

there has been enough said on this I know, but opinions on size/oversize of the shark aside, whether you like sharks or do not, I think its just plain disrespectful
If he was going to eat it (unlikely I am assuming) it would be ruined by the way it has been treated post catch
If he was going to bury it under the "lemon tree", it would need to be cut up anyway, its not that hard to tail rope a fish and get it into a boat - he did say it was dead right....
Guy was showboating and got caught out, if you are going to kill something, have some respect for it
