santas coming

serious news lol,

I just found out from my 7yr old ,

that when santa comes , to fit down our wood fire chimney he takes a vitamin b2 to slim up, gets him in then he takes vitamin c to fatten up and give prezzies,

wow it all makes sense now, she has also got the vacum ready so the messy bastard can clean his footprints up, as apparently mumsy works to hard cleaning all the time,

preparaion guys c,mon !! lol

my son is setting up trip wires with alarms ,laser by the way, this house is covered lol, hows urs

My house is covered

Thu, 2011-12-22 22:18

Soon as I put up the tree the dog and the cat start sniffing the boxes and camping under it LOL. Missus and family have just landed in the UK so it's me and the babies this year. I remember last year when the littlies were here... dog and cat just like the kids... Yes, it's that time again :)

Awesome Harro. Mine are still four and three. Talcum powder around my feet at the door for Santa's foot prints and a half eaten cookie are all I need right now to convince them Santa has come. Plus all the presents I guess. Good times.

The worst part about mine Harro

Fri, 2011-12-23 20:08

Was it was one of the springfree ones with fibreglass rods. When i got to the end the wife had miss-counted the start point and the bloody door had a pole in the middle of it so had to take it apart and start again.lol.The other thing was the 6 months of weekends to pay for it and the week of nights clearing the area and paving before hand. Then on top of all that Santa takes the glory

Mine also are 6 and 4.

We leave a small bowl of water and a carrot and apple outside for the Reindeers.  When Santa and reindeer turn up the carrot gets chewed and spat out all over the driveway, apple gets half eaten and the bowl of water gets tipped out.  Amazing to see his face each each time he wakes and beelines for the window before the christmas tree and santa sacks.

(4 year old is "special needs" and will never ever get the opportunity enjoy these moments) so big brother makes up for what she misses out on.

My boys are 3 and 5 and they

Fri, 2011-12-23 08:27

My boys are 3 and 5 and they are getting right into it.  They have already got a little bag of reindeer food off Nanna and we have to put some milk out for Santa.  I like the footprints idea too soupster .  Might have to use that one this year.  We don't have a chimney so Santa uses his special key to get through the front door.  Just not too sure whether he will come at night after the boys go to sleep or very early in the morning?    I think it will depend on how much we have to drink Xmas Eve?

Fri, 2011-12-23 09:05

I'll leave you a carton of Crownies if you leave the following:

  • A new tyre pump (Iron Man Pro)
  • A PEN 850 reel spooled with braid
  • A new SW Holdall rod bag
  • A bottle of malt whisky
  • and whatever else you can carry...

Don't trip over the dog on your way in and leave him here when you go please.... LOL

The kids grandparents by some cans of spray snow and spray sleigh tracks on the lawn. Works a treat in the morning.

Santa

Fri, 2011-12-23 12:02

When  I was young, Dad used to tell us that Santa liked fine Cognac and Smoked Salmon as he only got milk and cookies at the other places. Needless to say this tradition is being carried on by my daughters. Santa is looking forward to Saturday night.
