saturday swan fishing

me and a mate headed out this morning around 9 30 to a few little areas we were keen to try as we were looking for some new ground started working a few banks using lures and my mate could see a nice bream following but not taking the RMG , he then switched to a baby vibe and first cast got smashed a nice 30cm bream ,we then moved around to another spot were i got smashed by a big flatty then it popped the hooks then a big bream that snapped my line which i then lost my vibe so i was left with rmgs to fish , we fished for another few hours and my mate got another black bream about 30cm and big silver bream close to 35 but it was really fat , and i got a salmon and a flounder so it wasnt to much of a bad day , nothing huge but a good mixed bag on hard bodys.

nice bream mate. personally, i dont think tarwhine is 35, but its still a tarwhine on lure isnt it. well done. was a bit skeptical when you said salmon, thinkin maybe just a big herring, but no, that sure is a salmon!

Is it worth throwing a line

Mon, 2011-04-04 16:33

Is it worth throwing a line out during the day in the swan? Working nights means im limited as to when i can get amongst the action.

depends on where you fish some places some to be better on tidal movements the only difference is you will have to put up with the blowies
