I also read Paul Watson's book recently and he comes across as a complete toss, most people I know who have read it reckon the same. Maybe the organization would be better off moving on without him.

Thought you might enjoy this page. It has the letters and logs from the event. Even has Animal Planet video of Pete suggesting the scuttle. SO i guess its fairly obvious IMHO.
Shame he (Pete) has lost the plot somehow. I would suggest after reading and watching sscs reports, video's he dons't like his ego being stamped on.
