Hi All,newby to this site & heading up to SB this weekend...anyone got any spots to try?Mainly looking at Whiting,Flatties but any info on spots for Pinkies,Bluebone.Blackies would be appreciated...cheers

I have fished shark bay two
I have fished shark bay two times this year, if fishing from shore you can catch flatties, bream, shark, tailor, shovel nose,small bluebone, longtom, mulloway etc. monkey Mia side is good for beach fishing. I have a few good boat fishing spots but sorry mate not going to give them up!!! Best thing is to move around if you have a boat, should not take too long for you to work it out.

If you have access to a boat,
If you have access to a boat, head over to Monkey Mia. Head north away from the ramp about 2 mile. Watch the depth over the tidal flat, there is usually at least 1 m of water over it. when it drops away to 7 m, drift along the edge of that bank for pink snapper (closed season at the moment, don't keep any), blue lined emperor, rankin and estuary cod, blue bone groper and more.
Fish! HARD!

Thanks for your input guys,staying in Denham,but will mainly fish Monkey Mia,Big Lagoon.Does anyone know if you can fish up towards the Pearl Farm?Have a 4x4 also...cheers!

yer a few fish of the pearl farm but go through the channel and go on the reef for pinkies, estuaary cod, bluebone and of the beach on the right side of the jetty there is mullas and a few school mackeral and a heap just of shore and further up there is a shipwreck and there is mullas pinkies and blubone on the shallow reef .
but i never knew about the pinkie ban? any info
