Havn't heard myself but I'd imagine there would be a fair few toothies around down that way. The sound is full of food at the moment & this time of year is always pretty good for sharks.

 yer, i reckon, i wanna go try for some, but i dont know were to get baits for them like big fish heads and shit 

BCF in Balcatta has/had Tuna heads in thier bait freezer if you want to give them a try (long way from Rocky though). My preference is for live Tailor or Bonito as bait. You can even use live Herring though they are usually a bit small for me to be satisfied with them as shark bait. Strips of any oily fish like Tailor, Bonito or Tuna also work well. Lots of mulie cubes & tuna oil for a berley trail.

will go down to port kenady where they made the new boat ramp as i know the area from when i lived in the shacks down there many years ago

 yer we fished of the boat ramp on frday night caught some rays and heaps of herring and yellow tail, pm if wanna catch up for a fish down there 

will do starts getting busy now with xmas not far away dont have as much time as i would normaly

but its only a 30 minute trip to there so its a good spot for me to test out havent been there in many years

 oh ok well i lve in secret harbour so its only 5 mins up the road

sounds good to me god knows ive done crap with fish fr the last several months cockburn nothing narrows nothing

might as well try down there shoud be whiting and other stuff around to down that way but id sure love a shark

Don't waste your time lads. First time I went down there last summer I saw a very decent shark swimming around within 15m of the jetty. Countless allnighters later and I've seen one other shark there besides fkn banjos. Dragged my livebait right in front of its nose and it didn't even so much as give it a sniff. 

Can be a very on/off spot for other stuff. Did all nighter there on this last saturday. Could not catch a herring to save my life to put out as a livebait. Caught one blowie and one stingray with two rods fished for a lot of hours. Other days you can get a double header a cast and there were also a lot of tailor around last summer.  
 

Good spot if the wind's howling, otherwise I'd try somewhere else tbh.

edit: The amount of crabs there was unbeleivable last week. Could have eskied 8 well over size blueys (on my ganged mulie baits LOL) if I'd known what the season opening was. Was spewin when I got back and looked it up online .

 yer me and some m8s are going down friday night to and putting ballons out, there about 6 of us with 2 rods each and a shit load of burley, so we will c wat happens. yer we went down last friday and caught 6 fiddler rays/banjoy sharks in 3 hours, gud fun :)
