south city i wouldnt say not bcf, i work at bcf and i can help u out in getting sharks.. hoookt if u go from woodies for the rig have a wire trace of about a 1m with (my personal opinion) 2 big 11/0 or bigger hooks with live scalies or any sized fish u get from the jetty, set it out under a balloon so ur bait is sitting about 2-3m under water and then u just w8, the shakrs u get range from hammers to tigers and sizes from about 1m to well biggest i have seen was 3m but if ur unlucky enough u might get a bigger one. need any more help just send us a pm

I'll assume you do know what

I'll assume you do know what you're talking about i regards to sharks, but how many people at your store would know, then how many stores are there? Wink

There are some people at BCF that know what they're talking about in some areas, but you need good luck to actually find the few.

(Also, why two hooks if you're using something the size of a scaly? How do you rig them?)

umm at my store.. maybe 2 of us haha, and yeah probs not to many, and i use 2 cause i find that the two fish swimming around at the same time (well kicking) brings in a shark a bit quicker. and i just make a dropper loop with the wire, its hard but worth it in the end

Exactly Wink

Ah, i thought you used two hooks on one scalie. I used the three way crane swivels (the owner ones with two swivels joined) when i did a two hook shark rig (though mine was for a pretty big piece of fresh tuna frame). I wonder if those crimp inline swivels might work?

Wouldnt mind actually landing a shark. Only hooked up to two decent ones. Busted off due to someone elses poor wire connections (and too thin) and the other wrapped me around a mooring.  Hear a few people get them on the three mile, so would like to try that sometime. Anyone whos caught them there a few times before but doesnt have access to a boat, let me know.
