Sherbert's Tailor spots

Went up to Uncle Herbies tailor spots on monday that have been firing of recent. Started at spot 2 when 'never fails' Rig 1 Herbie 0 it wasnt firing although it looked good. Herbie cracked the sh@#ts so as he was driving we went to spot 4. I had bought some poppers 2nd hand off a felow fishing club member who said they were pretty good, he wasnt wrong 4 casts 4 fish. Unfortunately I didnt change the hooks that were worse for wear and dropped 3 in the shore break. The photo is of one that went 55cm.. I cant put a pick up of Herbie cos he didnt catch anything. He did drop a nice one in the shore break.

Almost agree Ryan
But the tail seem to be not square as the pencil poppers. Was just interested. And yes for a basic popper the pencil aint bad. Dragged flat out up here in Kcity over some shallows Queenies jump all over them.

The guy I got them off called it a cordell pencil popper. I am interested in getting a few more if anyone sees them around. This morning we nailed 2 each in about 15min then it shut down. Sherbie was using a pink richter that was eqully as good when they are feeding. this morning the biggest was 55cm caught by herbie (he pulled his finger out)

I am sure you can still get them. I got mine from Adventure sports up here in Kcity. But (by luck) havent lost one yet because I mostly throw them at Queenies, and they fight fair. So havent checked in ages.
