Sh!t fish of the Month!

Headed down to the harbour in dampier this evening. Spotted a decent fish on a pilon and with high hopes for a big barra i hooked up! 15minutes of pilon dodging, solid runs and half a dozen spectators. Ended sadly with this silver morwong (blue bastard) Not bad on bream gear, went hard! Anyways theres always tommorrow.

they must be in the habit of letting people down as I hooked one in Exmouth when fishing shallow SP's for coral trout and thought I was into a horse until a big slatey popped up. Still a good fight though, just not the esky result I was after.

I knew I should have taken the photo of that Nor West Blowie.

On the Carnarvon trip my mate fought this thing for 5 minutes,

I called ( A Snapper, He Called Baldie )

We both called " Oh Shit, it's a Blowie

"Disappointment Fish"

Wed, 2010-11-24 14:47

Hooked and caught a few around dampier now, and they do have so go in them. Always get the blood boiling in anticipation of something nice for the table, and up pops Mr grey Rubber lips.

Dont mind the fight but always followed by "disappointment".
