skirts

hi all,
was just wondering if anyone on here uses skirts on their shark/balloon rigs? and if so do they work?
i have started giving them a crack but i haven't noticed much difference.

if your balloon bait is skipping a nice bright skirt makes it alot easier to see for the angler, some pelagic fish it probably attracts. for sharks and using underwater baits I probably wouldnt bother
I know a guy who uses them on his bottom bashing droppers for demersals, who knows if this helps
