Snap!

Cruised out during the week for a run, i soon had my softy snaffled by a saucy little snapper!! Was funny, he swam around for a while before realising he was hooked, then tore line of a few times on the 8lb gear, then into the net. I was planning on keeping one, but he looked so cute i had to let him go....

Trippy Pic!

Thanks guys, neither the biggest or only fish this year so far, but i love how the pic turned out.

Wasn't intentional, just happened that way, the unpredictability of modern point and shoots!

Pete is a novel way of hiding the Bicton foreshore, shame really, can't think of anyone else catching a Snapper at Bicton Baths before, can you?

Have seen plenty before when night diving, but the biggest would be about 300mm.

I'm sure there would be bigger out there...as you proved.  I might trial towing a placy behind me whilst catching prawns.
