snapback soft plastics
Submitted by fab on Sun, 2011-03-20 09:35
Hey guys, does anyone know who has a big range of soft plastics? I am after a particular one, it's made by snapback, and it's the albino in colour (5inch for reef fish). I've been to bcf, and a couple of other tackle stores without any luck. I live north of the river, but i don't mind travelling. Any tips would be fantastic. Cheers Fab

Snapback soft plastics
We stock a range of the 5" Jerkbait in all the popular colors. The Albino wasnt a popular color hence not many shops got them. The better color we find is the Blue Glimmer, pinkies and dhuies love them. This is also a favourite color of mine and Ryan's.

I beg to differ Honsu
The white is a very good colour i think it is one of the old cases of Ryan caught a good fish on blue glimmer so Honsu used it and caught a nice fish so Shaun used it and caught fish so down the line it goes.I bought 6 bags to go away with and will buy another 6 when they are gone. You can also get them from The fishing shop woodvale if you dont want to travel down to oceanside and i am sure it will only be a matter of time before Allboats will have them if not already.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

Sorry mate....
I havent discounted off the white color. We stock and sell alot of the whites as well. Just merely responding to Fab's question about Albino color which the Blue Glimmer is the closest to.
I use the Blue Glimmer myself, NOT because Ryan has success on them, but merely it looks like a great color to entice bonito, salmon, tailor and maybe sambos from the shore.
Then again if somebody else have success on it, why wouldn't anyone follow suit.

Thanks Heaps
Thanks heaps for all your replys and tips guys. Only reason i'm keen on the albino colour in particular (snapback albino is very light pink on top with transperent on bottom), is because i've been watching fishing wa dvds series 10- episodes 1-12, and this albino snapback got smashed every time by trevally, queenies and all sorts of other fish. Thought this would be a good one to have in my tackle box for my up and coming fishing trip up north, (i've got enough brownie points with the missus). (Happy Wife, Happy Life).
Cheers guys

Fantastic colour, accounted
Fantastic colour, accounted for many fish including salmon, tailor and snook for me spinning shorebased south metro. Found it stood out like the proverbial on light changes, eg dawn n dusk.
Got mine at BCF Rockingham and Complete Angler on Dixon Rd stocked them too, but sold out very quick there.

Snapbacks!
Fab, Albino (albino isnt white) is a good colour that I was using back in the early FWA series before I was exposed to the many other colours. We dont get asked for Albino much hense the other recommedations via Honsu that do work very well and sell!
In saying that we do periodically stock the Albino colour but dont "bulk up" on that one due to slower sales.....not to say its not good but I actually use more brighter colours "across the board" now for most species
As for getting in any colours, we do custom orders for any FW members

Thanks Ryan
Cheers, thanks heaps for clearing all that stuff up for us mate. Just been looking into the best colour for up north (thevenard), going up again this year. Was up there last year for the 'Leasurecat gamefishing tournament'. You guys sighned my t-shirt at the end of the trip, ('It's gone straight to the pool room'). Thanks again to you, Harry and the lads.
Cheers. FWA rocks!!
