Snapper fish tonight

Just borrowed a 10 barra punt with a seagull motor off a mate and was going to go out to the three mile and catch a couple of pinkies.Can anyone give me the heads up on where they are biting lately and if the seagull tank of fuel will get me out and back or will i need a jerry can.Also how accurate is seabreeze been lately?I would hate to get caught in some nasty weather while at anchor.

I just measured the anchor rope and its 16 meters which should be ok for the 12m spot but i took the rope off one of my crab pots in case i go out to the twentys.
I also threw in a jerry can and a spare battery for my dolphin torch because it may go flat and that is also doubling as an anchor light.

If we see fisheries coming you can just zip in over the reef and i will keep them busy.I have my skippers ticket and my freshwater and marron licence so i am good to go.
Just checked to rules and we wont need an epirb.I wouldnt set it off anyhow as some one might find my top secret spot.

i only have the two seats so you may have to bring your own deck chair.They dont leave it out i have to throw a steak over one fence to keep the dog busy while i run around the other side and jump the fence.I have it all figured out now.I made the mistake a few months back of only throwing over a small steak.After three hours waiting at the hospital to get 35 stithes i wont make that mistake again.I am not stupid as you would know.

You can bring out your big fancy showoff boat if you want but you have to leave your gps at home.I will trow a couple of cray floats and you can raft up next to us.Saves you putting your anchor down as well.
If you come then then Sea Kem can jump on with you as it may get a bit crowded on our boat with the 8 rods out.

I will have my dolphin torch.
So i am good to go.Just a bit worried i wont have enough fuel now.The guy next door only has 2 stoke left.Can someone tell me if the seagull is 2 or 4 stroke?If it is 2 stroke i will have to knock off his chainsaw fuel.I just hope this last steak is big enough or i may have to cancel tonight and go tomorrow night instead.This is going to be so EPICCC.

You guys are soooo fortunate with your dinghies and inflatables - I had to ask permission from my daughter - for her inflatable pink chair she uses in the pool - glued my bait bucket on - strapped my 10 x 500 gr sinkers to the left - 2 x rods to the right - no money for wet suite - will wear my GLOW IN THE DARK SPEEDO for easy recognition - colour green - hope to hit plenty snappers, sambos, tuna, marlin off 3 mile reef. Dont be shy to come over and say goodday mate - will have my cooler box with some good cold ones towing behind me.

Sorry i had to bail guys but im ok now
I got trapped in next doors garden shed but i didnt want to let the side down so i made a run for it.I just have a big graze down my left leg and a badly bruised left nut from the fence.I have 8 stitches in my right foot from the neighbours rottie.Worst of all he has been humping my right ugg boot for nearly 4 hours now.When he wears himself out i hope to get it back with my cliff gaff(Hope it is not to badly soiled).Is it just me or is it a bit windier than forecast?

Very usefull to plug the hole if the bung should fall out. I recon the punt will be alright in 125k winds, its when it gets to Cat 3 cyclone I would start being a bit careful. My 5.4 Traily can cope with Cat 5 ive been told from some pm some time ago from a very nice fishwrecked member who was chasing snapper in Coburn sound some time ago in a little SW storm. But the last time I went out in CAT 5 my epirp got a little beat up (it has a huge crack in it), my flares look like rotten bananas, I dont have a working mobile and my radio only makes squelching noises. Might wait till the next CAT 3 to see if I am OK out there.
PS what is life jackets???
