Snorkling in Exmouth

Will be going up to Exmouth on Friday.  Mainly fishing but wouldn't mind spending a couple of hours snorkling.  Can anyone help me with some nice spots on the west side?  Will be staying at Lighthouse Park

Thank you

last time I was there, we found a spot, where no fishing allowed, away from the tourist track, before you get to turquoise bay, and there were HUGE  Nrth west snapper everywhere.....can't remember which track it was tho

snorkelling is terrible. Dead coral everywhere. Gotta get away from town to get to the good stuff. Waroora is awesome.

coral bay

yeah unless you go off a boat in coral bay i wouldnt bother, there are heaps of NW snappers that are in knee deep water but like MattMiller said most the coral is broken and dead and doesnt make for good veiwing.
