We had another purple day today with two good Dhuies oldest boy nailing one at 9kegs the other 5kg, two huge blackarse, Pinky , Baldy and three crays. So all bagged out by 10.30am I'll put up the boy's Dhuie later if I can be arsed lol.
It was nice when that easterly dropped for a couple of hours. Off to Devilles pad now to sink a few :P

Went out at 5:30, got some
Went out at 5:30, got some herring for bait in close and headed out to the 3 mile where we only got a sambo, back in by 11 for cricket.
Not many fish but a nice day on the water, flat as in close with that Easterly blowing

When those grey shadows appear under the yak it is time to seriously start looking at a boat IMO.
So long as you had a safe, good day on the water with taking home some thing good to chew all is well I guess.

Beautiful weather at Kalbarri
But not a lot of fish. Trolled for hours on a mate's boat for one 10kg Spaniard and a YFT(released), light easterly, overcast, bit of rain. Tried jigging further up, nothing. Ended a up as a trip sorting out his HDI 7 and all it's functions, nice unit.

this is just one of 5 sized dhu's landed smallest was 580mm released 3, 2 sized baldies 1 undersize and lost a tuna at the boat. 2 dhus kept 820mm and 850mm 1 baldie kept at 540mm all this on new ground from two rocks. all on jigs and 1 dhu on placcy in the space of about 2 hours, then hammered by south wester
