Submitted by Xtreme Coolers on Wed, 2011-06-22 19:32
Hi all
I would like to thank all of those FW members who have purchased their cooler off me over the past year and a half. The FW community has been very supportive and i can say i have met some brilliant people.
So.. after an initial extension to the deadline of the comp, who has won the cryovac and new XT20litre beer cooler?
The winner is....
Lamby
Congratulations to Liam.
I have attached some pics of his two large jews and the Kingy in the also large XT210litre.
It was a very impressive pic.
An honourable mention must go to Goodz, many thanks mate and nice pic especially with the sunset.
Thanks to everyone who entered, i hope you are all enjoying the use of youe Xtreme Coolers.
Regards
Dave Allen

Has been blooded Matt, however just a tad too big for a permanent fixture on the transom. Brainstorming mods whilst the weather is shite!
Brilliant thread Dave, cheers!

XT210 Harro, its a midgies
XT210 Harro, its a midgies dick too big to mount on the transom after I pulled the seat out. ATM we just have it down one side on the deck but I still would like to go ahead with the transom mount idea. Love these esky's so was happy to hold onto this one for our camping & get another to fit, were you after a bigger one (hehe)

Extension
Do you think we need to extend the closing date? Happy to accommodate that. If that 210 is too big Liam i am sure we can do something about that for you. Are you up in Perth soon at all? We ca look at swapping it over.
Looking forward to seeing some pics boys.

I think I would be hard
I think I would be hard pressed to get rid of it actually mate, it doubles as damn good party esky & slides into the disco for camping trips. I will measure up this transom properly & get one to fit it snug off ya!
Looking forward to finally getting out for a fish, been blowing its tits off down here

Entries
Looking forward to seeing some more of those entries coming in. I have spoken to quite a few of you over the past year or so and i am starting to think some of you may be telling me a few lies with the stories of big fish in your cooler boxes. Good luck with the hunt for that 50kg Cod Harro, look forward to seeing a pic of one of those brought to the surface. Hey Adam, are the girls at the netball club mebers of FW? If so, i will be expecting an entry.
Regards

Yeah Dave,
re. Harro's cod predictions, you and me both.
If you can organise sub 6m swells, 30knot NW winds and do some of Harro's metro window cleaning for him i'm sure we could be 1 step closer to that 50kg Cod
Winters not exactly the best time to have high hopes of hitting the shelf down here.

Yeah poor timing
I would think it will be worth waiting for. Unfortunately, i am no better at organising weather then anyone else Matt. How is that foot going? Hope you guys get a couple of good days in winter. I thought Harro and Liam would already have some good shots to send in.
See how things go.

Yeah I reckon,
been a pretty ordinary start to winter wind wise, but geez we need the rain.
Foots coming along well, i'm walking around just with a small ankle brace on. Thanks for asking.
I know harro's got a pic somewhere of his full of Dhuies and Red Snapper. I'm sure he'll pull it out when he gets home and has some spare time.

The prize
I have been using the Evapac machine for 3 years now. It features a powerful motor, non stop sealing, jar attachments, moisture trat to protect element and an intelligent feature that engages when there is too much moisture is present and will not alow sealing. this protects the life of the element. It is a very smart machine that will not let you down. It also comes with a two year warranty. The Evapac is an Italian designed machine and also comes with 25 bags.
We have been through a lot of machines around the same price. The Evapac will keep going over and over with no need to cool down.
Looking forward to seeing some quality entries coming in. Any questions then please feel free to ask.

Extension to competition
Wow, time goes very fast. Adam and i thought it would be a good idea to extend the competition for another few weeks. So far i have had two entries. One from Goodz and one from Lamby, both very impressive i must say. The closing date will now be Sunday August 14th and no later. get the entries in or the prizes will go to Goodz and Lamby. Apologies you two and thanks for the entry and comments. I owe you something for you efforts. What do you drink? I have not promoted the comp as best as i could, however, the boys down South have made every effort to get involved, thanks boys. Now i am having Gnaraloo withdrawl symptoms. Remember to send in all entries by PM to me. The new 20litre beer cooler should be here in 10 weeks and the Cryovac is in stock at the moment. I used mine for the 4th year running recently in Gnaraloo where it packed 130 bags with no probs at all. Looking forward to seeing some entries.
Thanks again
Dave

Two weeks to go
I have received a few more entries but would have to think there is a lot more people out there who would like to win themself a prize or two. It does not have to be a recent picture. It just needs to show me your catch and the type of cooler purchased. You need to PM me your photo as the official entry.
Keep them coming.
