Sometimes second prize is ok!!

Agree with Robpado in a seperate post " a few nice snapper around at the moment"

Went out this morning specifically targetting SBT as it seems I have lost my SBT mojo at the moment.

Dropped the second lure in this morning, doing a couple of knots, just getting started and bingo.....850mm pinky!

A PB pinky for me and it followed a 13kg PB dhubanger and a 45cm PB KG from a couple of weeks ago!

Our fishery is in great shape....although, I rate myself as a bit of an SBT guru I still dont know where the SBT are for 2018! Can't find them out wide and too much weed in close for my limited patience

Yeah it was a ripper mate. Yours looked alright, in your post, as well. How big did he go?

I just think out fishery is in good shape, thanks to the fishers and fisheries.

I cannot recall the last time we came home empty handed?!

I actually think its still a bit early in the year for SBT. The warm waters of the Leeuwin are still a fair way north.

Not bad bycatch at all! We got a cupl of smaller SBT off Augusta this week, 500-550mm. Probably a bit further south than you’re interested in though.

There were endless schools of sbt once you hit 38m+ out of woodies last week, surprised to read the comments of how scarce they are just 1 week later
