If it happened on the
If it happened on the retrieve, then I've seen that happen a few times on people putting in the boat on Forrest and Peppy Beach. Good laugh each time and then I helped them out. Trap for young players that one.

Yeah How'd that happen.
Forgive my ignorance. I've never brought a boat up a ramp. I'd like to know what could cause that.
I have seen someone flip while trying to terrorize beach goers though. He was zipping up an down when his boat flipped right off the beach. And people were more than happy to see that one sink.

Regular occurance at the
Regular occurance at the Entrance point ramps in Broome as there is no protection from a south wester if the water is on the concrete part of the boat ramp. It can be near on impossible at times to safely retrieve a boat due to swell and tide movement

Will see if I can find a video online of something like that happenin. I guess the owner must have had that feeling of nooooooooo as the swell was cocming in.

Alfred is correct
I too thought that the Poly craft were unsinkable?indeed they advertise them with a boat full of water and people standing on the gunwales.I have seen a cut section of one of these boats and it shows the clinker type ribs detached from the floor ,so do they rely on the compartments to hold air for buoyancy?or was it swamped, but once more I thought they were meant to stay afloat.I hope the motor was not submerged as ,being a 4 stroke it will be an expensive exercise to repair.jersey

as you well know rod
i put mine in at mindarie and left the bung out to see how high the water level got to before i installed the electrics. The level only gets to a couple of hundred mm before the air trapped between the two hulls stops it.The only way you will get that much water in is if you had a couple of waves come over the sides while launching .The best boat under 4.6 meters in my opinion.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

Looks like an insurance job
In the first pic he looks like he is filling the boat not bailing it out?

Water will get in but it
Water will get in but it won't sink, nothing floats that well but i'm sure extra flotation is a option on the 4.5m.
It's a nice piece of mind knowing if it all goes to shit you'll have somethign to hang on to and wait for a rescue. love my polycraft!
