sounder installation

Hi All,

Anyone have any contacts for someone to install a sounder and transducer?

Transducer will be transom mount (onto an ally boat).

Most things I would do myself but having a sounder read well at the highest speed possible is critical for me so would rather have someone install that that has some experience/ knowledge.

Cheers

Brett

ALLboats would probably do it.I did my own why not give it a crack,Transom mounted Trannys don't perform good at speed anyway ,its not hard.PM me if you need a hand.http://s610.photobucket.com/user/johncar/media/fisher%20p66/DSC01220reduced.jpg.html

Do it yourself.

What sounder/tranny is it? Do you have the manufacturers fitting instructions? If so I'm with scubafish have a crack yourself. Most transom mounts have elongated fittings for vertical adjustment - hard to go wrong if you take your time, think it thru, and follow the instructions.
Recently fitted a FCV627 to my boat and simply followed the fitting instructions and am very happy with result. Mine clearly shows ground at 20+ knots and I'm happy to slow down and go back over at slower speed to confirm whether to drop a line or ping for another day.
