Time to confess. It's
Time to confess. It's actually a whale. We were lobbing some soft plastics around and a pod came over to investigate. One headed straight for the boat and went directly under it. The sounder went ballistic. It made beeps I have never heard before.
Don't know why but the whales seemed very sociable today. Every time we stopped a pod came over to say hello. One pod stayed around the boat for a good 30 minutes.

Whales, don't ya just love em
I like watching the whales doing their thing swimming along the surface, doing tail stands breeching and all that stuff. Then one will get it in to his or her head to really put on a display, right next to your boat and scare the living hell of you.
The language is not "look at the lovely whales aren't they great to watch" then let me tell you, it's more along the lines of "you crazy bastards what the hell".
