Turn your sensitivity off auto, and adjust your sensitivity to the point you are seeing the bottom ok but not getting interruption and clutter in the rest of the water column.
Secondly, turn your fish ID off. Once turned off any major signs of activity seperate to the bottom should be fish congregations.
No offence taken at all if anything very appreciative just getting used to the new sounder and trying to find ground etc and yeah pulled 2 15 kilo sambos from there but nothing else thanks for the help mate

I'm no expert
But I reckon your gain / sensitivity is a little high, particularly in the second photo.
seems to be a lot of clutter at the top of the water column and also the bottom is very "busy" but nothing of major substance.
out of curiosity did you pull any fish off either of those sounder shots?
As I said, I am by no means an expert so no hard feelings with being proven otherwise.
cheers

Just noticed a few things in particular

I would have expected some
I would have expected some stronger returns for sambos and even more yellow/red returns for the wreck
