southwest reef abalone locations

Hi all.
I've got friends visiting from overseas and I would love to take them to catch some abalone down south (Busselton, Margaret River, Augusta etc). Nothing crazy, just off a reef like we do here in Perth during the season.
Is anybody able to share some good/popular spots for this? I'm not after any secret locations or hardcore diving spots, just simple, easy to get to, safe reef abalone.
Thanks in advance!

Spots like that
are very hard to find down here considering almost everywhere is exposed to some swell or deeper water.
Having said that there are heaps of Abs around but a mask and snorkel are the minimum requirement.

as Matt said...
There are a heap of spots...
Best to go where there is granite, small swell, low tide etc. Don't expect to reef walk, diving is a must.
Given the right conditions i can get abs as big as hub caps in at least a dozen different areas between the capes, pity they taste like crap and 9 out of 10 times i leave them be :)

Ah bummer! Yeah we can swim
Ah bummer! Yeah we can swim but I was hoping there would be somewhere we could just get our feet wet and grab a few. They would be so impressed lol. Would be happy to find a few that are legal size, I'm not after monsters as I want to play it safe.
I remember we used to go with family when I was younger and there were abalone in shallow reef down south somewhere but nobody can remember where.
Oh well!
