SP & Snapper
Submitted by fisherking on Wed, 2013-08-14 18:06
Hopefully, weather permitting, I'm gonna hit the Sound Sunday chasing Snapper.
Is there a favourite SP colour, scent, brand, size & weight you guys recommend?
Any hints & tips greatly received.
I've still to land a legal sized one.

7" McArthy bullhead minnow
7" McArthy bullhead minnow in pink/pearl. Dynamite. Jighead weights will depend on the depth your fishing but generally speaking allow 1 gram per metre.

lol you'll probably get a different answer from everyone to that question, my best advice would be the shallower you go the smaller you gohad good success on 3 inch gulps in 8 metres of water use enough weight to just get you to the botttom
snapper will eat anything if in doubt use natural colours i like the lime tiger gulp though

I hope you have good luck
I hope you have good luck with the SP Fisherking. From reading this site it sounds like you can do pretty well once you crack the code but I am still just trying to catch my first legal Snapper with bait since moving to WA.
