spear gun reel

hey does anyone know what are some good reels for a rob allen tuna 800 railgun? i need to buy one soon before we go try get some spanish macks. any help appreciated

pretty sure this is what eveyones using on bobby a's these days.

bout 10 yrs ago when i bought my first rail gun i niggerrigged an omer reel for my ra but went back to a floatline after too many tangles. a good reel is better than a float line in my opinion but then you have to carry ya fish on you. bit of a 50/50 call

Those guys have the full range and the forum is very helpfull. Quality RA reels arnt cheep though. Another option is a breakaway

I'm with dumper, the barracuda reels the bluewater spearo club use are the ducks guts. Know a few guys who use them and swear by them.

Pretty sure the local shop Hookah Dive stocks those reels.

powerdive on stirling hwy cottesloe area have those plastic RA reels which are ok.

about a $100 roughly me thinks.
