I got 5 for $10 last week from the Leach Hwy store in Myaree. Got a range of colours, all size 3 I think. I find these are the best to start with and you can use them in a range of depths at that size quite well, although the 2.5's are sweet for some of the shallower weed sections around the sound for example. In terms of land based, size 3, pink and orange tend to be a better bet than other colours I reckon, although don't just buy the one colour as Vinesh said you gotta sometimes swap til one works.
As a generla rule for Landbased, the staff here prefer to use white, black or orange jigs depending on the time of the day. Darker colours when there is less light around.
In regards to size and brand, you cannot really go wrong with yamashita or harimitsu for a good quality jig, as well as the shimano sephia for a slighter cheaper option.
If fishing from the rockwalls, a 3.0 to 3.5 will be suffice.

my go to method is
bright day, bright jig
dark day, dark jig.
Then I mix it up on the day if that dont work. 2.5 and 3.0 are the sizes that make up my collection.
Good luck, and enjoy the squidding.

2.5-3 might need to go
2.5-3 might need to go heavier if casting into a strong wind.
If I had to pick one colour to fish it would definitely be pink, caught more on that colour than all others combined
