Submitted by Dale177 on Fri, 2010-07-23 08:54
I plan on going out to the rocks off of woodman point on the weekend, wouldn't mind trying a new spot but cant think of any as good, if any one knows of some please let me know!
any way just looking for some tips at woodman point otherwise, what side of the rocks, how far down etc, i've got some there before but i dont seem to have the luck like others do there.

I've never tried squidding
I've never tried squidding there but know it is a decent spot mate and believe the south side of the rocks should produce - plenty of weed beds around.

i went there last
i went there last weekend.
where ever there is weed there will be squid.
i only got one but thats coz the water was very murky and there was a bit of weed around. i got my squid on the south side but it was small. the jig i used is the 3.0 orange yamashita. but the 2.5s are probly the best size. as for colour mix it up with different jigs and different retrives.
hope this helps.
cheers danno
