Hi guys
have been fishing in the swan for a while off my dinghy, but havent found any great spots. Canning bridge sometimes coughs up silver bream and yellow tail grunter but thats about it.
Do you know any good spots that you wouldn't mind sharing?
Cheers Ben

Point Walter
Definately not a secret but the Point Walter area is definately a consistent producer for flatties and occasionally giant herring. Especially in the skinny water now that the temps are warming up. Good luck and I look forward to seeing some pics up of your results soon.

Where do you live and what
Where do you live and what are you targeting?
Freshwater bay holds a variety of species and plenty of structure.
Maylands to the casino holds bream ( mainly under 35cm) all along that stretch, including the bridges, jetties and general snags
PLenty of spots, not all produce at that same time of year though

I live south of the river in
I live south of the river in Rossmoyne
I always launch at deep water point (Mt pleasant) and head up as far as the traffic bridges. Targeting anything decent :/ Mainly fish from Shelley to East Freo. I see you have already commented on my flattie :)
And for point walter, do you mean the huge spit that comes out. Do you also know if Katakatta bank is good? I know its very shallow.
Cheers
