Swimming in the pilbara

hey guys is the weather getting too warm around october to swim around dampier/karratha because of stingers and things? Is it safe snorkelling in the archepalgo? Or is it too late.

Cheers

great time to visit the dampier archhepalgo , if your back packing stay away from fortesque river , bella bella and cleadervile  , this time of the year they are all alive with sand flys , if you can do the burrup jump on the other hand you will be rewarded with the best beaches and fishing in the pilbara

if you dont have a 4x4 to do the burrup jump up hike it in its only about a 5 km hike , but i promise you you will find the best beaches  in the pilbara no facilitys there so you will need to carry all your own water and food in , if you want to hike in but leave your car in karratha i have a mate    in karratha that you can leave your car with and will drop you of at the jump up pm me if your keen

There  was a  swarm of  jellyfish  that come into  dampier and islands  a few weeks  ago. Was  horrified  one  day   kayaking out   around  sams  island  and  also   at the boat club  boat ramp when i was pulling my  boat out. Was out  at  Malus island  a  couple weends ago   with  family   and   no   jelly's in sight.  Still pretty cool up here  atm.  The  stingers   and irikandji  generally start  showing up  when its  much  more  hotter.  Just  keep  vinegar  handy.
