Chasing a little info on tailor fishing in Kalbarri
A bloke i work with is heading up there tomorrow, and I've just kitted him up with some gear to have a crack for some tailor. He is heading up with his wife and kids and doesnt really want to fish the cliffs and rocks.
Anyone able to recommend areas that would be worth a crack from the beach?
Iv'e told him to try south of Kalbarri at port gregory and lucky bay (He is a SR5 so no dramas ont he beach)
I've not personally fished Kalbarri so wouldnt know what beaches if any would be any good for tailor.
Cheers

shouldnt find it too hard up there for big tailor up to a metre and around the 12lb mark. heaps of good bycatches too. id recommend lures, mostly poppers. seen some pics at the servo of heaps of tailor around 100cm caught in and around the mouth. hope this helps
