Tairyo Rods

anyone heard of or used one?
i bought one a month ago (1-3kg) and matched it with my 1000 ci4 stradic.
i was more than impressed with it, and with the new nano technology, it was virtualy unbreakable. i put it through quite a bit and it was just extremely strong for a 1-3kg bream rod.

from what i know they are a
from what i know they are a high mod graphite rod, coated in a "nano technology". nano is a slurry of industiral metals and forms a honeycomb layer around the rod. apparently it is 50% stronger than graphite rods. sorry about the shitty explaination, but thats all i know :)

How'd you break it?
How'd you break it?
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

I've been using the 4-6kg
I've been using the 4-6kg nano, with a 2500 rarenium. was originally using 10lb, but wasn't enough.. broke too many times under drag pressure. now using 15lb. great rod, plenty of power, good value for money. has handled dhueys to 10kg nicely, rays etc you name it. however, had a few problems with wind knots...

From memory i checked them
From memory i checked them out and being a formwork carpenter i put a lot of hurt on the 1-3 kg job and couldnt break it with the salesman holding the tip on the floor but dont they have the k style guides which were designed to stop wind knots. i was thinking of getting one for light jigging on my stratic ci4 4000.
