Submitted by JasFishing on Tue, 2014-08-05 16:06
Hi all,
Going up to Tamala station for a week in early Oct and was looking for some advise, we will be landbased (or I might take a tinny up) what should I expect at that time of year. Is the Snapper ban still on? Will it be 2 windy to take a tinny up??? any advise is greatly welcome.
thanks
Jase

I would certainly take the dinghy, plenty of fishing available.

Tinny
Yes i would take a tinny but unfortunately you will have to put all snapper caught back unless you are lucky enough to have a tag which is a load of shit as there are snapper everywhere

Yep Strike zone is spot on.
Yep Strike zone is spot on. We were up there this school holidays. You need a tag from the lottery to keep a Pinky. Which is absolute b!$h$!t because they are everywhere. We couldn't get past the buggers. It might be better when your going but we couldn't get any other fish.
Cheers
Chris
