With Saturday's crappy weather, I decided it was time to put together some video footage taken in January this year with my kids in Jurien Bay. Even though there's no fishing, I think it will be something most of us will be able to relate to being ocean loving people. For the record though, we did do one drift for 2 fish and then a snag and snap-off. With a feed quickloy on board and the weather so great, decided there were better things to do.

Nice video. When we go north we always have a caravan/camper in tow but need to get the boat up that way. Good quality family time right there.

Didn't realize they had a new jetty ,show how long it's been for me.Used to be a small bommy just in front of the jetty to the north a bit that used to hold some crays great snorkel for kids to see crays.

Thanks for the comments guys. Used to work up at Jurien when younger, so finding it a nice place to holiday now and show the simple things i used to get up to - surfing, seals, fishing etc..

An excellent keep sake for the kids, and hopefully when the grand kids come along places like Jurien will be still un spoilt and just as enjoyable for then.
